Practice Kindness
Have you noticed that in today’s world there is a general lack of civility? I have started a campaign that will not cost you any money, just a commitment to Practice Kindness.
Be kind in your speech and in your actions.
Before you speak, ask yourself, can I say it more kindly?
When you are asked to do something, do it without complaining. Less talking will get the job done faster.
If you are having a problem on your job talk to your supervisor, not all or your coworkers and clients.
If you have to wait in a line, do it without complaining. You can wait patiently or impatiently, but you still have the same wait.
Commit yourself not to expect any more kindness from another than you extend.
Extend kindness even though it hasn’t been extended and understand that it might not be returned.
Remember, the only person you have control over is you.
Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, and Jesus showed us that one person can change the world.
